Indie filmmaking is cool, there's no money in it and not even your parents watch your movie and you don't play in theaters but everyone constantly asks when a24 is gonna put out your movie

annoyingly delays have taken me from a release now to a release coming later this month but i intend to have my third film out very soon. please await further instruction on the best way to prepare including but not limited to blinding and deafening yourself to prevent exposure

@weardjupiter deeply hoping it'll do something interesting with diagetic found footage and not just kinda throw it in... would be a shame if the only thing it takes from house of leaves is the scary architecture and not the stunning formalism or beautiful heart to the story

seeing 15 billion comparisons from HoL to the backrooms trailer that dont exist and come from people who think the plot of HoL is a scary house. really fucked up! beautiful drama about memory and love and heart set in this fascinating formal space and reduced to a house. its sad
