8 years ago I had the opportunity to talk and meet Stan Lee. I didn’t want to wait so I passed. A week later he died. I vowed to always meet the people responsible for my favorite stories and characters from now on. So yesterday, I met David Michelinie. Venom’s Creator :)

@caredscared_ @IndigoMusic352 I’ve come to the conclusion that those said bad faith people just don’t like that we are vocal about not liking the slip we’re being fed. They want us to shut up and enjoy it. Oh and basically all of them have NEVER read any of Venoms material. Especially Ewings entire runs.

@IndigoMusic352 see the thing is neither me nor mutuals agreeing with me are making that argument, but time and again we get bad faith responses like "you don't like to be reminded he was a villain" (i love his villain era) or "mj doesn't need to forgive him" (never said she should).

I don't even know where the attitude comes from with venom fans. To like the character you kinda have to be cool with the fact that he was a villain and some characters shouldn't forgive him. Why does he have to be coddled by those he abused?

you can talk about character assassination and editorial hating your little guy all you like but writers have to contend with the fact the comics never reconciled what he'd done to mj and felicia in their long publication history

People are running in circles by debating Eddie’s morality and whether MJ is entitled to hate him. That isn’t the issue, and it’s kind of pointless to argue over. What I wanna know is… why? Why are these characters in this position right now?-

@nunya2312 @JustDaemata That’s our entire reason we hate this. NONE OF THIS SHOULD BE HAPPENING. Eddie shouldn’t be a deadbeat to his son, MJ shouldn’t be holding Eddie to a standard she IGNORED for Paul. BOTH of this characters are genuinely out of place
