@AGBRSports Its not THAT Cold here, -1°C and 60km/h winds where i am today
English

@cactigaymer It can be enjoyable once you get into it but it can also get very grindy especially late game.
English

@Jackalope_121 @TheSandwichWolf GVWR is not just the vehicles own weight but also its capacity, that is cargo, passangers, and fuel. A truck like that can easily exceed 26000lb depending on configuration.
Even at the low end it’s probably sitting at about 25,600Lbs GVWR. Just barely under the requirements.
English

@TheSandwichWolf This is at most, an 16000lb vehicle, with juice brakes. You do not need a cdl to operate it.

English

Imma play devil's advocate here.
Vehicles like this should really require at least a class B license to drive.

@Spottyroo I am going to assume the check engine light is for a MAF sensor

@Oksii33 Its either going to work or not going to be your problem for very long
- average EOD mindset

@megigogi F-5E and you get to stay in the lower bracket (10.3-12.0), its a good plane if you know how to manage energy well
English

@faithandheresy It was a long time after i got into the universe was when i even realized this thing was battletech related.
English

Mechwarrior 2 is literally why I am here.
Art of Battletech & Mechwarrior@ArtofBattletech
I know I post a lot about the video game side of Battletech, but I'm reminded of the survey results from the backer survey (N=14350) from the *tabletop-focused* Clan Invasion Kickstarter back in 2019 on how people entered Battletech. The video games are such an important entryway
English

@faithandheresy @DepSecVaden I know they have switched over to E10s here in my area as my fuel mileage has gone to shit (7.7L/100km to 8.3L/100Km) and I’m still paying over $2/L.
English

@faithandheresy @DepSecVaden Good call, Ethanol fuel has lower energy density and thus requires more fuel to reach the same distance as non ethanol fuels. Generally speaking higher up you go the E chain the less efficient it gets. At E10 it’s about 5% more fuel burned per mile and at E85 its around 42% more.
English

@megigogi Low to the ground, put the incoming missle about 90° to either your left or right side, dump a metric shit ton of chaff. Adjust heading while chaffing to make the missile target your chaff instead of you.
Alternative, make the missile hit the ground by using terrain masking
English

@megigogi Get low to the deck (tree top height)
F-4E radar lacks a look down mode, get terrain behind you and it wont be able to track you much at all
Alternative, pull had back with full aleron to do a corkscrew and that maneuver the Sparrow cannot follow you in.
English

@Iron_Elf_ Been rocking just Su-25T for my soviets and its been fun to stock grind it while i try to beeline for the Mig-29
English

@Iron_Elf_ Take a 11.3 max only if you dont have a Mig-29 or F-15A, you will get in matches that are maxed at 12.0 only so worst you can face is like F-4S or J
English

@AllieJade1 It’s because of the sheer length of wire is acting as a resistor, and it’s able to bring the load down low enough to not trip the breaker.
English

Did you get all this?
Can someone explain it to me like I'm 5? 😅
Ok. I admit it. The whole electricity thing - I may not always grasp. So yeah, it's probably a good bet that if I tried to wire something, maybe even install a new light fixture,... I'm going to zap myself to kingdom come! 😅 Am I the only one who is electrical work challenged and would rather leave it to someone who knows what the heck this guy is talking about? 😂
English

@truckerpatty The amount of people who are acutely unaware of how large their vehicles are is astonishing. I’ve had people try to say their F-350 pickups were not greater than 16ft long and meanwhile they got a long bed dually with a trailer hitch stuck in the rear and a giant bumper.
English

@dokachan0816 I found it was easiest to get a few air kills then just use nukes to bomb airfields for rest of the match or dropping them on clusters of units. Preferable go for the 30 KT (Medium size) nukes for airbases as they one shot the 5 smaller bases and give a good hit of score.
