It felt good to get back into lessons tonight! I focused on not opening up my front side and could already tell a big difference in my swing. Small adjustments go a long way. I had a fun St. Patrick’s Day celebrating with my team! ☘️ I went 3-4 at the plate with a double and 2 RBI In the circle I threw 5.2 innings with 5Ks against 1 BB and 1 ER

After a rough game tonight, I asked my dad to head to the cages with me to try and work on some things and get some extra reps in. Im looking forward to getting back to lessons tomorrow night with @flumdogg after having to miss the last few weeks due to games. @chelsea_hsSB @FirecrackerMoon

Recap from Hoover Round Robin- our team went 1-1-1 on the weekend. Not my best showing at the plate, but I’m going to put in some extra work this week to prepare for our next area game against Spain Park, and our tournament in Gulf Shores next week! We had a busy week of softball! On Thursday we played our first area game against Pelham earning the win. In the Pelham game I went 2-5 at the plate with a Double and HR. This weekend we played in the Hoover Buccaneer Round Robin. Our team went 1-1-1. I had a great lesson with @BSherSB tonight! We focused on keeping my glove hand in and not letting it fly. We put a ball in my glove to be a reminder to keep it close to my body! Only a couple weeks until our first school ball game!! @FirecrackerMoon

Another great lesson tonight with @flumdogg. We focused more on having quality at bats and the mental side of the game.
