दिल्ली में प्रदूषण का बड़ा हिस्सा सड़कों और मिट्टी से उठने वाली धूल से आता है। वाहन प्रदूषण का योगदान तो है ही, लेकिन जब तक डस्ट कंट्रोल नहीं होगा, तब तक प्रदूषण पर पूरी तरह काबू नहीं पाया जा सकता। इसीलिए अब 500 गज से बड़े हर निर्माण कार्य पर डस्ट कंट्रोल नियम अनिवार्य किए गए हैं। निर्माण से जुड़ा पूरा परफॉर्मा भरना जरूरी है और उसकी मॉनिटरिंग DPCC पोर्टल के ज़रिए ऑफिस से होती है। इसके साथ ही, सड़कों से धूल हटाना हमारी प्राथमिकता है। इसके लिए ब्राउन एरिया खत्म करने, एंड-टू-एंड पक्की सड़कें, प्लांटेशन और घास लगाने का काम तेज़ी से चल रहा है। जब डस्ट खत्म होगी, तभी दिल्ली का प्रदूषण भी कम होगा और यही हमारा लक्ष्य है।
