It's obvious when you watch Zegras take shootout attempts, but a change of rhythm is something that more players should use. Going slow to fast (or vice versa) is half the battle to beating the goaltender in this format.

For all the Hagens talk out there regarding his position, he will be a winger long-term. The modern game requires even more of a two-way capability of its centers and he’s much more skill than a balance of finesse and physicality.
