NEW: Michigan gas station clerk helps save 16-year-old girl from being kidnapped by a man with a history of r*pe charges. Abdulrahman Abohatem, who works at a Detroit gas station, noticed something was wrong when a man walked into the store with a teenage girl and she mouthed what appeared to be “help.” In surveillance footage from the gas station, Abohatem can be seen stepping between the girl and the suspect, separating them, before he and the suspect go outside as police arrive. The teen was abducted from a bus stop on her way to school. Her friends were able to track her location via her phone and notified police. The suspect is still in custody, and charges are pending.
