The First Basket Leaderboard 🍀 is back 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 With the start of the 2025-2026 NBA season tonight, I am happy to announce I will once again be tracking First Basket and First Team Basket metrics 🍀 Last season we were INSANELY profitable with our strategy and am looking forward to all the cash we will make during this one 🍀 Since the conclusion of the 2024-2025 season there have been a LOT of trades and roster changes. Took a look at SEA and CLE, lots of players look good if the weather was better. J Ram and Manzardo will get on base for sure, but J Ram might go yard. Kwan also looks good to pull one here but again I need to see data on his swing. Base hitter for sure. The only true strength vs pitch type for this game I see is Josh Naylor and Donovan. J Naylor is Bo Naylor’s brother so we might see both of them turn up. However J Naylor can hit everything Kirby can pitch and at the right angle too. Donovan can too, but with a lower thrown ball release point average. Both have the plate side advantage being lefties but again the weather is working with the pitcher. Solid matchups though and priced at a good value on the books

Jeremy Pena going yard. Lefty destroyer and Yusei loves to pitch down center plate. He also can hit edges really well. Books are asleep on this at +520

Miami is a sneaky team tonight. Remember last season Heiberto was crushing balls all over the zone. Augustine and (different team) Colson I felt were in a battle to see who could hit a Homerun every day the most. On the flipside, Hunter Goodman was the 2 Homerun per game champion and Jordan Beck loves the early season. You got Colorado vs Miami tonight. That’s a treat itself but Sandy is no joke. Miami might be slugging every inning
