Just because you are statistically more likely to be harmed by intimate partner does not mean that you are less at risk of being assaulted while going outside at night. The reason those rates are so low is because women take those precautions.

I know this is old and silly, but I look back at this one fondly because it taught me a lot about animation by just copying movement from the movie.
As a kid I was inspired to make sprite cartoons after watching ROTMK on NG, which I ended up making sprites for as well (part 3&4)

Absolute power corrupts. If you just want Superheros to solve every world problem, life is unfortunately not that simple. Yes, you have stories in which Superheroes DO that! You also have stories in which it backfires because ultimately no one should play god (e.g. Injustice).

I feel like this is a very cynical way to look at Superhero stories. It's not like this hasn't been broken down over the course of 80 years of comics either. Lol There are a variety of comics that critique these ideas of "hope" like Superman vs. The Elite and Irredeemable.

I used to be like this, Like, a hopecore guy, but now, after like, reading more superhero comics and really thinking about it, making the primary focus of a hero's ideology being about hope should be treated like a fundamental failure.

A trope that I detest is when the hero has multiple love interests, but ends up with the worst possible option. This is especially infuriating when they had much more organic chemistry with the other love interests, who were also far more interesting characters.

I keep seeing people saying the first round of Switch 2 owners were beta testers...do people not know that consoles get multiple revisions? The PSP had 3 + a European exclusive, the 3DS had multiple models, and the PS3 had many revisions just to keep up in the market at the time!

I'll be cynical and say that celebrities expecting "traditional" customs in modern relationships is weird. Even 100 years ago, if you were rich, the first thing you offloaded was labor. There's no reason they couldn't have hired help. Just needless suffering for the sake of it.
