@SpencerWeather @NWS For me, it's a but different. When I hear that voice, I KNOW to listen up because I know what that voice is & always has been. If it were anything else, I may not realize I should be listening to what's being said. I do agree the pronunciations and clarity could be better though

Serious thought prompted from another thread : why is @NWS still using the electronic voice on WX Radio? AI is so good and so cheap and can get MORE attention than the current “Charlie Brown’s Teacher” voice - why is this not in the field NOW? ….

@Linville34 @Xbox While I've never been an Xbox fan/user, this would definitely be bad for gaming. With their only console competition being Nintendo (and they don't really share the same catalog), Playstation prices can land wherever they want, and they already cost a decent chunk of change.

@Bo_Dirt_WV Ya know, that's about the most respectable way I've ever heard someone approach a situation like that. I worked Fire/EMS in the frack fields for a while, and from what I saw, being a safety guy is almost always a lose-lose situation. Didn't matter what they did, they got flamed😂

I had to climb out of the manlift at work today and actually walk on a beam (you know, general ironwork, my job). A safety guy came up to me and said “I’m only 22 so i don’t wanna tell you what to do, but if you could, please find another way to do that”

@Linville34 I'd be willing to bet you'd probably be disappointed in corporate's reaction, too. 😂 Most companies just don't care man. They only care about you costing them money. A situation like this doesn't matter unless it results in some sort of lawsuit, then they're paying attention.
