Beginning with a hike through Rainmaker Costa Rica, the experience set the tone for a week of connection, renewal, and shared camaraderie. For 100 years, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier has stood as a solemn tribute to America’s fallen whose names are known only to God. An armed military guard was ordered on March 24, 1926 and the first sentinel was posted the following morning. The Tomb has been guarded without pause since, representing the sacrifice of all who gave their lives in service to our nation. Each year, Freedom Alliance scholarship students visit this sacred place, not just to see it, but to understand it. To stand in quiet, to reflect, and to remember the cost of freedom. Nahsir Knight-Bell has been part of the Freedom Alliance family since 2023 🇺🇸 A dedicated student, leader, and friend, Nahsir continues to honor his father’s legacy while building one of his own. We’re proud to share he’s officially been sworn in to the Army National Guard. And we have to say it… nice haircut, Nahsir. We know those locks will be missed. We are honored to walk alongside you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

Earlier this month, students from Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin visited Arlington National Cemetery with President Tom Kilgannon. They learned about Section 60, the families of the fallen, and Freedom Alliance’s scholarship program. A bright, curious group making the most of their week in D.C.!

$1 million gift for America's sons and daughters! Freedom Alliance is honored to receive this incredible support from to provide college scholarships for the children of our nation's heroes. Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund is a long-time friend and strategic partner. With their help, Freedom Alliance awarded scholarships to 920 students in 2025 alone. Each of these scholarships honors the service and sacrifice of a military parent—like that of Colonel John McHugh, for whom Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund is named.
