We have been following the reports of Ahmaud Arbery & George Floyd, 2 black men killed in the US. We have also followed the news regarding Regis Korchinski-Paquet’s death in Toronto and the video of Amy Cooper harassing Chris Cooper. #BlackLivesMatter We feel we cannot be silent:

📢 City-owned playgrounds, sports fields, basketball and tennis courts, off-leash dog parks, skateboard and BMX parks, picnic areas, outdoor exercise equipment and other parks amenities, as well as attached parking lots, will be closed effective immediately.

Soon, signs like these will be posted near and around #CityofTO playgrounds as a reminder to be careful and help protect yourself and others from #COVID19.
