Today kicks off Pride month. Akron has long supported our LGBTQ+ community & we'll be highlighting some of those efforts in June. But it's also important to acknowledge that right now, the LGBTQ+ community is facing some of the most discriminatory legislation in recent memory.

Today in 1890, the Cleveland Arcade opened for a cost of $867,000. Modeled after the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, The Arcade is one of a few of its kind remaining in the US.
