Your salary is the scam and nobody's talking about it…
I calculated the actual hourly rate of trading vs working. The numbers are criminal.
If you make $75K/year at your job:
$75,000 ÷ 52 weeks = $1,442/week
$1,442 ÷ 40 hours = $36/hour (before tax)
After taxes (let's say 25%): $27/hour
That's what your time is actually worth. Twenty-seven dollars per hour. For 40+ hours every week. Forever. With a 3% raise if you're lucky.
If you trade on prop firm capital:
$200K funded account (costs $1,500-2,000 to get across multiple challenges)
4% monthly return (conservative when you're only taking 1-2 trades per day from aligned setups)
$8,000 gross monthly
80% payout = $6,400 your cut
Hours worked: 90 minutes per day × 20 trading days = 30 hours/month
$6,400 ÷ 30 hours = $213/hour
$27/hour vs $213/hour. For a skill that takes 6 months to learn.
But it gets crazier.
Your job hourly rate has a CEILING:
You can't work 200 hours a week. Your boss won't pay you 10x more for 10x output. Your salary grows 3-5% per year if you're lucky.
At $75K with 4% annual raises:
- Year 5: $91K
- Year 10: $111K
- Year 20: $164K
That's your ceiling. 20 years for 2x. Still trading time for money.
Trading hourly rate has NO ceiling:
The same 90 minutes per day works whether you're managing $200K or $2M
$200K at 4% = $6,400 take home = $213/hour
$500K at 4% = $16,000 take home = $533/hour
$1M at 4% = $32,000 take home = $1,066/hour
Same 90 minutes. Same system. Just more accounts running the same setup through a trade copier.
And here's what makes the math even more stupid:
You don't scale by working more hours. You scale by buying more challenges and running the same entry across all of them simultaneously
One click. One decision. Copies to every account. The setup is identical. The risk is identical. The time invested is identical. The income multiplies
Year 1: $200K funded = $76K/year ($213/hr)
Year 2: $500K funded = $192K/year ($533/hr)
Year 3: $1M+ funded = $384K/year ($1,066/hr)
And you're still only working 90 minutes per morning.
"But 4% monthly sounds unrealistic"
Here's what 4% actually looks like with the system:
You check the 4-hour candle profile before you look for a setup. If the wick is large or it opened the wrong direction - no trade. Laptop closed. That's 40% of days eliminated. Days your salary-earning coworker would have lost money on
You check the session. If the previous session reversed, you trade continuation from a gap. If nobody reversed, you wait for the 9:30 sweep. The 6AM candle already told you which one. Direction set before market open
You check the correlated assets. NQ breaks out. You check ES and YM. If they don't follow - the breakout is fake. You skip it. Your coworker watching one chart enters the breakout and gets wicked out
You find the gap in the right zone. Upper half of the previous candle's range. Close proximity to the opening price. You enter on the V-shape confirmation - expansion in, displacement out, gap forms
One trade. 2.5-3R target. Done by 10:30.
At 1% risk per trade, one winning trade at 2.5R = +2.5% on the account
Two of those per week and you're at 5% for the month. Even with losses mixed in, 4% monthly net is conservative for a trader who only takes aligned setups
Your $75K job requires:
- 2,080 hours per year
- 20 years to double your income
- someone else's permission for every raise
- zero control if they fire you tomorrow
Your trading account requires:
- 360 hours per year (90 min × 20 days × 12 months)
- 6-12 months to learn the skill
- $1,500 in challenge fees to access $200K+ in capital
- scales infinitely by adding accounts
The reason most people don't do this:
Learning takes 6-12 months with no income. Your job pays immediately.
Trading income is "uncertain." Salary is "stable."
But stable at $27/hour for 40 years isn't stability. It's a slow prison sentence with a 3% annual raise and a retirement party at 65 where they hand you a cake and forget your name by Friday
The math favors learning a skill that scales over a job that doesn't
But most people will keep the job because the short-term certainty feels safer than the long-term math

2 years and 2 months ago I started a trading challenge.
I didn’t know anything about options.
I tried watching videos and reading about it but it was boring.
So I decided to just do it. I bought the exact same option Nancy Pelosi bought and prayed.
A month later I was up ~$15,000.
I was shocked.
It seemed like the easiest way to make money ever.
Just buy what she buys and do nothing.
I kept doing it. 3 months later I was up ~$70k.
That’s more than what I used to make a year, in 3 months without doing anything.
2 years later I’m having $50k+ days.
Yes she has 45 days to disclose her trades but look at the data yourself, the delay doesn’t matter.

The disclosures are there, compare the date trade was disclosed to the price on the chart and you’ll see for yourself.
Delay doesn’t matter. This method works and will continue to work as long as insider trading is legal

Every time you profit from a trade you took money from someone else. Hence, the big fish like to take our money. They move the market like we can’t. 🐳 They also can frustrate the masses until they capitulate. It’s my view there won’t be a big rug pull now. But another leg higher first to fool the herd.
I’ve seen this time & time again. Scalping / day trades are all I’ll be doing until there’s a false breakout above $688 $SPY. I think that will be the setup for the corrective (5-12%) rug pull into April. Just my opinion. Subject to change 🤣.

LET ME REDEEM MYSELF! 🧵 [1/3] Though today was a difficult Friday for $GME enjoyers, some very interesting predictions came true related to Kevin's previous tin. Firstly, Kevin's Illusionist review featured pic of the butterfly at the end, he predicted that BBBY would make a big move, which they absolutely did by partnering with Open Door. Secondly, in Kevin's Foxcatcher movie referred to Keith Gill's career as a track star, which ended due to a torn Achilles heel, which is why I featured RK's Troy meme in that review. Now, he has posted Troy. This review is particularly interesting because early at 4:20pm est on Friday, Kevin posted a status update of Ocean's 12, "It's not in my nature to be mysterious... but I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why." So, naturally everyone expected him to review Oceans 12, and yet now we have Troy! The Tin sure had me going that SOMETHING HUGE was going to happen on Friday, and yet, GME closed in the Red. 1/16 was National Dragon day, and RK's Game of Thrones Meme [V for Vendetta, Ready Player 1, GoT] featured Daenery's dragon opening its eye, which was tinted red by RK. Aladdin's jumping out the window sure seemed to play out on the charts today! The very first thing I noticed was the SPARTAN pin on Kevin's shirt. This is fascinating in part because Kevin waited until after midnight to post the review... meaning, the Troy review was posted on 1/17. If you remember the White House Gamestop Quote on X back in October, it featured Donald Trump as Master Chief, the Prime SPARTAN of the Halo universe... On the breast of Trump's SPARTAN suit are the numbers "117". In my Shawshank Redemption Decode review, I noted several interesting connections to the number 17, which is surreptitiously added above the scene where Andy mentions, "3 Deposits Tonight" in the 2nd half of his video post. The following evening, Kevin reviewed Aladdin which of course features 3 wishes. Before that, in Kevin's Foxcatcher review, John Dupont shoots David Schultz 3 times. Which of course leads to RK's "Let's go out with a BANG" meme, BANG BANG BANG. His review also pointed to the Coldplay meme [Backwards, Forwards] meme on May 17th, and to top it off Katin [His Shirt] is a 71 year old company [flip-mode]. I pointed out that Trump and his connection to Q [the 17th letter] may very well be involved with the entire Gamestop Saga. Q is infamous for "The Plan", as is RK. Now, a Spartan pin on a movie about Achilles, who was actually a Myrmidon and not a Spartan, may seem like a stretch to connect to Donald Trump... But here's where it'll blow your mind: The VERY last shot in Kevin's Review features a photo of Brad Pitt's Achilles thrusting his sword with the words, "BORN TO FIGHT" written in big bold letters across it. BORN TO FIGHT is the name of a best-selling book about the connections between Abraham Lincoln and DONALD J. TRUMP. Lincoln was also the 16th president, which is quite another coincidence in the wake of Friday January 16th... But wait, THERE'S MOAR... Remember the "Good Friday? Great Friday!" Sunset Ocean reel I wrote about in Kevin's "Sorry no Review" post? Of course I believed it meant we would have a Great Friday as far as price action, but it goes much deeper... On top of Kevin's Oceans 12 "Mysterious" status update on 4:20, ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS SHOT ON GOOD FRIDAY [April 14th, 1865]!!!!! This is FAR beyond mere coincidence at this point... 2 years ago today I copied a Nancy Pelosi trade as a joke.
The first trade was $38k, 3 months later it turned into $108k.
Seeing this strategy works I added more cash to copy more of her trades as soon as they came out.
This joke made me $668k in 2 years.
