@BitcoinToTheMo4 Yep, the app is open source github.com/chrismaltby/gb… and the game engine is also open source github.com/chrismaltby/gb… and at any point you can export your project to a regular GBDK project or just modify parts of the engine with plugins gbstudio.dev/docs/extending…

Funny number time is over, I've just released v4.2.1 as a quick bugfix release for people seeing permissions errors on Windows. See you all again at the later releases of GB Studio 6

@SpinyRat Hah, it was supposed to be for breaking changes, as long as you're not heavily using plugins projects should just carry over (and if you are, plugins can get updates). Probably should have been called v5 though 😆 semver.org

As part of some work I've been doing to help optimise a @GBStudioDev project I've put together this tool that other people might find useful codepen.io/roastb/pen/XJb… it lets you drop in background pngs and it merges similar tiles + creates a common tileset image

Been testing out GodotBoy this morning, a project for @godotengine that lets you drop in your @GBStudioDev game and export a native exe for Windows/Mac/Linux. Seems like this could a good way for anyone looking to distribute in the different app stores greenf0x.itch.io/godotboy-templ…

Working on some tools to help diagnose slowdown in @GBStudioDev games. Can scrub through recordings and see what was running each frame. Found a few easy wins for optimisation for the next release! Code at github.com/chrismaltby/gb… if anyone might find it useful (plugin devs?)

@GBStudioDev Hi! I don't think so tbh >.< I would have to check with the companies behind it, if u would be interested in seeing the modifications, we can grant u access if u want :), most of the UI changes are pretty simple, the major change was redoing 100% of the compilation process hehe.

@drushu_wit_ho3s @GBStudioDev I've got a work in progress branch with an option to toggle this now. Will disable colour correction in the editor and also when running games on the inbuilt emulator. Still a bit to test but this should make it into the next @GBStudioDev release
