What is the point of the @GPatHand app if it functions exactly as a receptionist, only releases new appointments in batches, doesn’t automatically release cancelled appts. Currently no available GP appointments all year on the app.

@GPatHand I did my application 6 weeks ago now and I haven’t heard anything. It’s still trying to charge me for appointments even though everything says it’s supposed to be free. What should I do?

I need to remove stitches in 10 days. @GPatHand has no appointments (next one in 2 weeks!), so told me to call 111 or go to A&E. Still a week left & #gpathand can’t find a solution without collapsing other areas of the @NHSuk @NHSEnglandLDN ? Unacceptable! #Babylon #nhs

Unacceptable. @GPatHand is getting worse and worse… today was the 2nd time that GP was so late that she joined the call and hang up immediately! I really need this appointment (as per their recommendation!) but they overbook and then hang up on you! #nhs #Babylon

No GP appointments available at all on @GPatHand - nothing through to September. Clearly they batch release, but that’s utterly against the point of having an app. The 8am reception phone race replaced with a fight against the faceless algorithm.

@GPatHand This is not true - you currently have a TEN DAY wait to see a GP. Even for cancer test results. God help Nicola and anyone else like her.
