Just obtained the MOU between Sacramento State and the MAC.
Along with the $18 million owed to the MAC ($6m the first year) + no TV revenue + paying for visitor travel, Sac State will also pay the MAC $205k annually in member/bowl fees.

@doutorprepucio @ChefReactions Spent a summer working at a small restaurant in Calistoga (Napa) on year. Zagat rated. Would often hit gas station for beer after closing. Was a regular thing to see our well known Chef getting his late night meal from same gas station.

@ChefReactions A very common misconception about chefs is that people think they will only eat sophisticated food made with the highest of standards when in fact they are "food people" that will eat almost anything simply because its good or they are hungry.

The “Agents of Chaos” paper from researchers at Stanford, Harvard and other institutions is fascinating. A team gave autonomous agents memory, tools and communication channels. The result was unexpected coordination, manipulation and system failures. After working with most major GPT systems, I can say this isn’t surprising. When agents interact, game theory shows up quickly. Which is why I remain a strong advocate of human-in-the-loop AI. Originally because models make mistakes. Increasingly because of incentives and bias in autonomous systems. One more thing—> You won’t lose your job to AI. You’ll lose it to someone who knows how to use AI.
