I feel like this machine has more collector’s value than anything else. Lore-wise, it contradicts events in GG2 and Xrd: Sign a bit.

@GrimoireIndex In terms of scale, Azure Grimoire only influences the space in proximity to Hazama. The Tome of Origin is basically a Control Panel for the Entire Universe from the Backyard by comparison.

The Japanese text likens the Stone of Sage specifically to Ragna's Azure Grimoire(蒼).
Hazama's uses a different kanji when written(碧).
This seems to insinuate Asuka's Tome of Origin shown in Guilty Gear Strive is only as powerful as the imitation Azure.

In BBCS, we learn that Ragna's Azure Grimoire is in fact a failed imitation made from the corpse of a Black Beast. The true completed one is Hazama himself. His would be named the 'Blue Grimoire' going forward and is, by design, superior to Ragna's in every conceivable way.

@wilson_senator I disagree with the notion that Stage 9 bosses are the same as Gold Bosses. Foundationally, Gold Bosses were always way more powerful. Stage 9 Bosses are limited to a single gimmick at most.

It is simultaneously a replica of the Tome of Origin held by Asuka R. Kreutz and Ragna's Azure Grimoire.
