The South China Sea is currently a digital and physical ghost field. ⚡️🇺🇸🇨🇳 While the U.S. and Philippines kick off the massive Balikatan 2026 exercises, the surveillance game has reached End Game" levels. On open-source tracking (FlightRadar24), we are seeing a rare dual-shadow: 1️⃣ US Navy MQ-4C Triton: The $240M high-altitude beast. It’s operating at 46,000ft+, essentially acting as a giant vacuum for every electronic signal in the region. 2️⃣ PLA Wing Loong-10: China’s answer. A stealthy HALE drone designed for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) and electronic warfare. The Twist: Intelligence reports from February showed China has been "masking" drone signals to look like civilian cargo planes or British Typhoons. What we see on the map might only be the tip of the iceberg. With the U.S. recently losing a Triton in the Persian Gulf on April 9th, the stakes for these high-altitude assets couldn't be higher. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs is justified in summoning Ambassador Gor to ascertain whether the US President supports the claim made in the letter that India is a "hellhole" (p.1) or that India is seeking to turn the United States into its "colony" through migration .
