ngl the NFT market lately feels kinda dead, same cycle over and over. hype, trade a few rounds, then it fades out. most people are holding just because they’re scared of missing out, not because the asset actually does anything. buying a static PFP just to leave it there feels pretty pointless i recently came across a project called Project Lobster and honestly it feels different, like it’s trying to break that “ mindless loop ” instead of buying a dead image, your Lobster evolves based on your actual on chain behavior. what you trade, what you hold, how you move, it records everything and changes traits accordingly. rarity isn’t about mint luck anymore, it’s something you grind yourself, kind of like proof of work each wallet has its own journey so every NFT ends up completely unique. no one can copy someone else’s value. the team is also adding AI driven traits so it can react to the owner, which makes it feel more like raising a digital companion than just owning a collectible. it’s built on @tempo so fees stay low, meaning you can evolve it continuously without worrying about gas. they’re also hinting at a marketplace where people can check the full life story of each Lobster. later on you’re not just selling a JPEG, you’re selling the story and the reputation behind it this isn’t really a quick flip play, it’s more like betting on a new narrative around on chain identity. still very early though, so i’m just putting it on the watchlist for now check it out @lobsternft_lol dyor
