@Mikekantorski Probably. Gotta get Georgia online and the backlog of R2’s cranked out first too.

@Mikekantorski They had quite a few Afeela popups at a bunch of malls. No surprise though Honda is going the wrong direction and not going full in on ev’s.

@RivianUpdates Yes agreed, el segundo is no enough for the South Bay part of LA. They need space preferably at Del Amo Fashion Center Mall(sixth largest mall in America) and another service center in Torrance/Carson/Long Beach. There’s so may R1’s in this area.

This was Rivian’s 2024 outlook showing 40+ Spaces and 100+ Service Centers through 2025, and they’re clearly still working toward that.
As R2 comes along I’d love to see more Spaces on the West Coast and in strong R1S markets like Washington, Oregon, California, the DMV area, and New York/New Jersey.

Rivian currently has 36 Spaces across North America. Once R2 starts rolling out and every Space has one on display, these mall locations are going to matter a lot more. I’m still a huge believer in malls and high foot traffic retail for Rivian Spaces, but Rivian should also expand vehicle access at service centers. Not every service center needs a full showroom, but having a static R2, R1S or R1T on display to see the inside and out would help a lot of customers. A lot of markets don't have a Space nearby but do have a service center.
