I am troubled by Trump. But I’m even more troubled by the Christians who defend him.
Every time I hear @Franklin_Graham support Trump, I think of the words of his dad:
“I don’t want to see religious bigotry in any form… It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it.” – Billy Graham
Follow Jesus. Not Trump.

You can try to sanitize supremacy by calling it biblical.
You can try to justify war by calling it holy.
But real followers of Jesus know his voice and it sounds nothing like this administration or the grifters who call it Christian.

If more christians actually respected and followed the teaching of Christ we'd be in a better place.
There are atheist who may not believe in God but who respect and/or live out the teachings of Christ more than actual christians do.

It is tragic that Renee Good was killed in Minneapolis yesterday. Pray for her family and loved ones. This incident serves as a strong reminder that everyone needs to obey law enforcement. If they tell you to raise your hands, raise your hands; if they tell you to get out of the car, get out of the car. Argue with them in court and let a judge decide who is right or wrong, but you should not take a chance of getting hurt. Pray for calm in Minneapolis and for our law enforcement who have the very difficult job of trying to get people out of this country who came here illegally under President Biden.
