March is #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth. Endometriosis is a full-body inflammatory disease. Diagnosis can take up to 10 years and is often mis-diagnosed. Many suffer excruciating pain and feel dismissed by healthcare professionals. It's time for better awareness and support.

Not one, not two but four teams out and about speaking to local people across #Guildford over the course of today! It really matter to us that we hear from people about their concerns and hopes for our amazing town, constituency and borough. @ZoeFranklinLD

Guildford Liberal Democrat councillors have had another extremely productive week delivering for our borough 🧡 From meeting with local stakeholders to fixing street lights, and helping to raise funds for the RAF air cadets, the dedicated team has been hard at work ⭐

Another week of being busy bees 🐝 for our councillor team at Guildford Borough Council, whether that was engaging with local businesses, helping to smarten up community spaces or helping with flooding & on-street parking issues 🚗. Working hard all year round is what we do 🧡

Yesterday, I spoke in a debate on transport in the House of Commons. To achieve a greener, fairer, more thriving future, high quality public transport is absolutely essential. I urged the Government to invest in new railway stations and to invest in ensuring stations are step free. I also asked the government look at empowering borough, district, town and parish councils to be able to run their own localised bus services, not just the county level transport authorities. buff.ly/4iphEJP

Our team of councillors have been busy again this week 💪 Working hard to help charities, solve fly-tipping issues, road resurfacing, as well as helping to fund local services and answer resident housing concerns - our inboxes are constantly busy! 🔶

James Steel and Cllrs Masuk Miah and Katie Steel were out in Stoughton, and Michael Higgins and Cllr Catherine Houston were out in Shalford today chatting to residents today. Lots of comments about how good it was to see them.

Three of our fab councillors from Stoughton North and South wards were out today for one of their regular litter pick sessions. Pride in our community spaces is really important and we know residents very much appreciate the work our cllrs do for their communities.
