Both victims are in stable condition. One of the individuals who fired a weapon has been arrested; he is 17 years old. Detectives are still working to identify the other individuals who discharged firearms. (5/6)

Officers and responded to Haywood Mall just after 1 p.m. for reports of gunshots fired. They found two gunshot wound victims. The injured victims were transported to the hospital. Multiple people are in custody. The scene is active, but contained. (1/3)

If you dropped someone off at the mall and want to pick them up, we are setting up a designated area on the ground floor of the garage at Dillard’s. A @RideGreenlink bus arrived for people to wait in and stay cool. The mall is closed for an undetermined amount of time. (3/3)

There is no danger to the public, but it could be some time before first responders can clear the area. The Greenville City Fire Department and other law enforcement officers are assisting with evacuations. (2/3)

👏🏽 Helping our partners clear the roads! GPD traffic unit worked alongside SCDOT this morning to direct vehicles so DOT plows could clear interstate ramps. The roads are improving, but still icy. We encourage you to stay home until streets are safe to drive.

GPD officers are on scene on I-85 South just before exit 48 (Laurens Rd) investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle vs pedestrian. Motorists should expect delays while our reconstruction team conducts the investigation. Please use an alternate route if possible.
