Here's the problem: regular jet fuel costs about $700 per tonne. SAF costs $1,400 to $7,700 per tonne. That's 2 to 10 TIMES more expensive. ✈️💸 Airlines don't want to buy it voluntarily. So governments are starting to FORCE them.
