🎖️🇬🇧🎈 WW2 veteran Stan Palmer has celebrated his 100th birthday, marking an incredible milestone surrounded by family and friends. Stan was called up during WW2 in 1943 as a National Serviceman. After training, he joined the Reconnaissance Corps, later serving overseas in the Far East and the Middle East, where he was promoted to Sergeant during his military career. He spent two years stationed in Egypt before eventually returning to the UK. Following his demobilisation, Stan built a life with his wife Jean, who he married in 1953, and together they raised a family that now includes grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
