@RacketFury @Sophmeister2 @PlayStation The complete lack of an upgrade path for owners of the PSVR1 version is very disappointing. There's a very short list of games on PSVR2 that took this decision, most developers went down the road of either a paid or a free upgrade.

@NotCassim C'est surtout confus d'un point de vue UX. On mélange des recherches par type de média ("vidéos", "images") avec des mots clés sans distinction visuelle entre les composants.

@ColibrioReader @lmrlaurent I don't think marketing would make a difference. We need adoption from major retailers and the rest will follow. I was around when this happened with EPUB. Having Sony adopting EPUB made a huge difference. Then Overdrive, B&N, Kobo etc.

A bit disappointed that Readium did not choose to work with W3C SyncMedia project for guided reading and sync audio and text 🙁 I hope we can convince to to get on the train @lmrlaurent 🙏😊

@ColibrioReader @lmrlaurent If you want to move the needle, try to convince at least one major audiobook retailer. This is a chicken and egg situation, without any incentive to shake things up, the mess will remain as-is.

@ColibrioReader @lmrlaurent No one is producing Readium audiobooks in-house, distributors receive whatever mess they can get and have to deal with that.

@Hadrien @lmrlaurent If organisations start producing books in-house that use the Readium audiobook profile, and speak of it as an official publication format, it is problematic. This should be obvious yes?

@ColibrioReader @lmrlaurent The existence of LCP protected audiobooks and its use by various organizations out there has ZERO impact on the adoption of W3C Audiobooks between publishers/distributors and retailers.

@Hadrien @lmrlaurent Yes, however that is a different problem area however. It is related however. In order to market the new format towards publishers and distributors it helps if there is one format being marketed.

@ColibrioReader @lmrlaurent Your time and energy would be better spent trying to convince all the other organizations out there with zero support for W3C Audiobooks, for example some of the big name retailers. That's what would actually make a major difference in terms of adoption.

@Hadrien @lmrlaurent I am aware, but now there is no longer any feature gap as far as I know. So, as an example, implementating support for the Audiobook profile of the Readium Web Publication Manifest in LCP, Instead of the W3C Audiobook format is problematic.
