@AmericanAir I tried that. Was passed around and put on hold for hours. Finally reassured that everything was in order and I would receive the status match. Then boom. Denial email today with no further details or points of contact. If someone would actually talk to me and give me a reason…

@HanrahanLEAP We're truly sorry for any disappointment, however our AAdvantage Customer Service team has full authority to make status match decisions. If you believe they overlooked any details, we recommend you continue to work with them directly.

@AmericanAir I’m Platinum status w/ Delta. I’m trying to switch/status match to AA bc of more flight options in my regional airport. After 2 submissions online, HOURS of calls w/AA & reassurance they would make it happen, I got an email denial today w/ no explanation. FRUSTRATING
