It’s in Europe’s material interest to help these countries develop so that less people leave it in the first place, which we do by ending IMF imposed limits on borrowing and deficit spending, which will attract people to go back to their countries of origin

The only way to lower migration is to address the issues in people’s home countries that make them go elsewhere; lack of economic opportunities, war/violence, climate change. Migrants act in their material interests like everyone else
