Ohio put Kalshi on notice today that its “prediction markets” are unlawful gaming and proposed a $5 million fine. A federal court already agreed with our reading of the law. I wouldn’t bet on how long Kalshi will be operating in Ohio.

Of Massie’s 20,665 donors in the first quarter, approximately 76% were first-time contributors while 993 donors from Kentucky contributed a total of $190,399, including 401 from his 4th Congressional District, the figures showed. The first-quarter showing comes as Massie faces a competitive Republican primary on May 19 against former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein, who has received backing from President Donald Trump.
