@Minecraft This this cool. More cave biomes are awesome, I really hope we get gunpower with Charcoal + Sulphur. The mob is cool from a programming point and complexity but Minecraft already has a lot of stuff like this. Everything having a bunch of crazy interactions hurts simplicity.

@wol_lay I would say lessen that contrast a bit, the green is neon. a lot of UE projects end up deep frying the image with very heavy color correction

@CalamityModTeam Context for p1 DoG. His mandibles have 2 joints and have a good amount of flexibility (which is why in p2 Draedon made the armor more rigid on the joins to prevent injuries) the scar on DoGs face is from a past opponent. DoGs skin is wrinkley and slimy.

@CalamityModTeam @ the folks saying this isn't pixel art or is too hd, it's the same pixel ratio as every other sprite in terraria. The boss is just really really big. It's the same case with something like the moon lord, who is also highly detailed because he is also really really big

@kitbyss @CalamityModTeam Any scaleing the old sprite had will be gone. The higher resolution will be to scale. It may look HD here but terraria is more zoomed in on the pixels so it will be on the same pixel density as the player

@cros_fy @CalamityModTeam He will be the same length. We calculated the length of the new parts to match the size of current DoG. this will run faster than current dog because it will have less segments.
