After re-reading the transcript a few times, I realized the interview wasn’t even as tense as I remembered it (just kinda awkward & unexpected maybe?) and it was definitely a good learning experience. So with that, actually listening to the interaction was not too bad 😌

Being immersed in the interviews is usually enjoyable but today I got to an interview that I remember was somewhat tense (?) & felt so anxious that I had to stop the recording after a minute. What helped? Reading the tense moments in the transcript before listening to the audio

Listening to the audio recordings of my qual interviews to check transcripts. It can be such an immersive experience. Hearing the participants’ voices always takes me back to their interviews & I remember their facial expressions and mannerisms & my own feelings in those moments.

They have been denying this tx FOR TWO MONTHS. Scans now show that his liver lesions are growing while @Highmark argues with the EXPERTS caring for him. This cancer is aggressive & fast. @Highmark’s greed will be fatal if he cannot receive tx soon. @DGlaucomflecken 2/

@Highmark is denying my dad lifesaving care. He has stage IV esophageal cancer with liver mets. His case is unique & difficult—a team of oncologists from @PennMedicine, @LVHN, & @MSKCancerCenter decided the best tx for his liver lesions is radioembolism. @DGlaucomflecken 1/
