The Duterte bloc, composed of four lawmakers from Davao City, has filed a resolution in the House of Representatives requesting the reports of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) in its investigation of the multibillion-peso flood control corruption scandal. The video showed Bayani as a fragile five-day-old chick taking its first sunbath up to seven weeks old, where the young eagle began practicing flapping its wings. “Bayani’s journey reflects the dedication behind our conservation breeding program for the critically endangered Philippine Eagle,” the Philippine Eagle Foundation said in a Facebook post. The name “Bayani,” a Filipino word for hero, was chosen by the chick’s adopter, Procon Grumbach, to celebrate the courage and hope symbolized by every young Philippine eagle. The three-month-old chick is the offspring of Philippine eagles Dakila and Sinag.
