Juneteenth is a TEXAS holiday that specifically celebrates BLACK TEXAN DESCENDANTS OF SLAVERY. So no, essence fest should not be moved to Juneteenth & any “national” Juneteenth celebration (which I don’t support) should be overseen by NATIVE Black Texans.
