Eric Johnson stepped down as the head baseball coach at Howell yesterday after 15 seasons. Johnson led his alma mater to the Group 4 championship, No. 1 ranking in the Shore and No. 1 ranking in the state among public schools in 2022.

Resilient win over rumson. Down 8-2 in the 6th Aaron Wonenski hit a 2 run homer and the next inning Waylon Cavanagh hit a grand slam to tie it. Down two in the 10th Jack Quinn hit a game tying 2run homer. Finally in the bottom of the 11th Brody Loch singled Agnello in to win it

Another impressive day for the rebels with a 14-4 win over SJV. Logan Koeppel with 2 hits and 4 rbis. Matt Vetrano with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s and Vinny Agnello with 3 hits 5 RBI’s including a 3 run bomb to mark consecutive days with a home run.

Howell wins 9-2 thanks to a great pitching performance from Phil Christopher who went 6.2 giving up 2er. Offense was led by Wojenski with a 3 hit day and 3 rbis, Vin Agnello with a 2 run home run And multi hit days for Brody Loch and Connor Acker.

The rebels get a 15-0 win over Shore. Phil Christopher threw 5 shutout innings. Brody Loch, Logan Koeppel and Waylon Cavanagh all with extra base hits in the win.
