#UFL Free Agent Watch: S Devonte' Mathews @vonte_mathews is an under the radar prospect out of Western Kentucky that deserves a look at the pro level. Mathews began his career at West Georgia, totaling 78 tackles, 2 INT, & 6 PD's across two seasons. In 2023, he transferred to Nicholls State - with 52 tackles & 2 INT to his name that year. Devonte' finished his collegiate career at WKU, posting a career high 98 tackles, alongside 2 INTs. He's a tackling machine, with speed (4.56 40) & high football IQ to make up for his smaller size. Had a strong 72.6 Defensive Grade via @PFF during his senior campaign.
