Faith is not transaction, it is trust. When we present faith as a currency with which we receive the goods and services of the Kingdom of God, we portray faith as the goal of salvation rather than salvation as the goal of faith.

Why do we value all generations? Because old eyes can still see and young eyes can already perceive. Yet we know that we need all eyes seeing together, looking in a common direction, in order to discern and communicate the whole picture.
