I’ve finally moved to the United States 🇺🇸 Glad to announce I’ve been transferred from the Netherlands to our Connecticut office in the United States. Looking forward to what the future holds for me in the US 🇺🇸

It has to be my first time at @TimesSquareNYC. I had just moved to the U.S 🇺🇸 on a full relocation transfer by my employer. That moment reminded me of a dream I had around 2015 (after a night reading with uni friends), when I first felt God was taking me abroad. Standing there, I shed a few tears—I couldn’t believe my journey would bring me to 🇺🇸 like this. A boy born and bred in a rural town near the Benin Republic border now works for the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturer. It can only be God!

Walking alone through a foreign city at night and realizing how far you’ve come has to be a top 3 peak moment of all time

@Mrbankstips But let's not forget that humans hove not even explored up to 1% of the galaxy. Look how long it took us for another trip to the moon.. that's just in our orbit. Now let's talk of how impossible it'll be to search every nook and cranny of another planet

This is actually the opposite when you think about it deeply. There are over 8 billion of us on a tiny rock orbiting one star among 200-400 billion stars in the Milky Way alone, with hundreds of billions of planets scattered across the galaxy, yet, despite all of that, we have found zero evidence of another intelligent civilization anywhere. Not one signal. So when you zoom out and see how vast and empty the universe appears to be, the fact that you are here, alive, conscious, capable of even asking this question, that doesn’t make you irrelevant. It makes you one of the rarest phenomena in the known universe. You’re not small. You’re statistically miraculous. Another rare fact that makes every single human in existence special (when you zoom out) is this: there will always be more humans who will never exist than humans who ever will. The number of potential humans who will never get a chance at consciousness is almost infinite.

You are one of 7 billion people on a tiny planet orbiting an average star in a random ass galaxy. You my friend are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

@aaslateef Absolutely Dr! Every time I go on to read about our universe and the galaxies, I’m more convinced there’s an almighty being behind the creation.

@Ifwal95 One thing that I know about the whole thing is that you can study English language and doubt the existence of God. Immediately you study science, only foolishness should make one doubt the existence of God.

@Ifwal95 @TimesSquareNYC I wasn't sure at first if that's what you meant, but yes, those nights were truly something special, glorious even😊. And I still think about the day you got your first class award. Remember how we talked about you going abroad right after?

@Ifwal95 @TimesSquareNYC Haha... You inspire "us". We all are custodians of mother earth. From villa to Space. Only let's know the next new thing you're making so we stash up. 💪

@FiyinOlajesu @TimesSquareNYC @FiyinOlajesu The post was referring to one of those night readings we did together—you and the others at the fellowship secretariat back then. It was more than just reading; God was orchestrating our paths.

From Nigeria to Germany: A Scholarship Journey In March 2020, I received a letter from Germany that changed the trajectory of my life. I had been admitted to pursue an international master’s degree on a funded scholarship, after graduating as the best student in my BSc Physics class in Nigeria 🇳🇬 Today, I look back with gratitude for the exposure and experience Germany gave me—the opportunity to study, learn, and conduct research in a state-of-the-art environment. If you are currently studying in a Nigerian university, let this be your encouragement to give your absolute best. The opportunities out there are limitless. And if you’ve already graduated with excellent results (especially in Physics) and need guidance on securing international scholarships, feel free to reach out—I’d be glad to help. Like and Retweet
