GCSEs coming thick and fast from today. 2 years ago it was Evelynn, today it's Alex and in 2 years it will be Jacob. Sure Alex will take it all in his stride but I have butterflies for him along with giant ones for me invigilating in my first "proper" exam. Good luck to all

@english_mrs_m I was looking at the literary festival earlier. Looks amazing. Enjoy!!! I also saw a couple of book binding workshops amongst other things. All very tempting .. I went to college in Calver so spent 3 years with that area as my stomping ground.

@Ikklestar I used to live nearby Chatsworth; it’s one of my favourite “home” places 🥰. I recommend their Christmas market. I’m booked on to go to the literary festival there later this year 📝

Been to Chatsworth House today where they have an incredible exhibition of reading and literature. The Charles Dickens letter was amazing to see and the first edition Robinson Crusoe. You would love it @english_mrs_m

After five years, we have officially started exam season with a ‘Good Luck’ assembly. It’s been a pleasure to work with such incredible individuals; a greater pleasure to write my students a final montage of memories and well wishes. I can’t wait to see them smash it! 🤩❤️
