Les liseuses représentent 10 % du marché du livre... - Non le CD de musique n'a pas totalement disparu au profit du digital et voit son CA augmenter depuis plusieurs années. Certes, le CD et les vinyles sont minoritaires, mais les ventes ont généré 5.3 milliards de dollars dans le monde en 2025. On est loin d'une agonie... 🤡 Évidemment que les industriels du jeu vidéo ont tout intérêt à vous faire croire qu'on va vers une convergence du tout demat. Mais là réalité montre que c'est FAUX. Microsoft, Ubisoft ou maintenant Rockstar essayent de basculer l'équilibre des forces en faveur du demat. Mais malgré tous leurs efforts, parfois sournois, le physique ne disparaîtra JAMAIS. Pour la bonne et simple raison qu'il y aura toujours un marché. Quelle que soit sa taille, ce marché sera toujours intéressant pour les entreprises qui s'en empareront. Donc au mieux, ils arrivent à augmenter la part du digital. Mais je pense qu'ils ont conscience qu'ils n'arriveront jamais à faire disparaitre le physique comme sur PC. PHYSICAL FOR EVER 💪

You thought you were getting a disc? Noooo you silly ignorant gamer, physical means EMPTY BOX. Everybody knows that! YOU misunderstood, YOU are the problem. You thought you get the full game for $80? Silly gamer! You need the $100 version if you want any customization! But why be cagey in the first place? Back in Feb, the Internet got word of the secret plans for no physical media. Rightfully they were upset. The response? Take Two's CEO came out to loudly state in press that there would be a "strong physical presence." He knew what he was doing. He knew you would think DISC, because that is what everyone was worried about in Feb and the last thing he wanted was to tank pre-orders. So he lead you down a path, didn't he? Placated the gamers... And now they are doing it again, sending out an email to assure everyone who pre-orders will get a physical copy...yes, a copy of an empty box...no disc, which is NEVER MENTIONED in the email and, turns out, was never going to happen. And c'mon, they are gating core customization features behind the $100 version now? We're at the new Horse Armor moment in gaming. GTA 6 is probably going to be an amazing game (it better be, or the backlash will be huge). These sales tactics will work brilliantly and make Take Two and Rockstar billions. But the precedent it sets is AWFUL for the rest of gaming. $100 games (not 80, 80 will forever be the "lite" version), and no more discs. Buy air in a box, be a good consumer and shill this for us please, streamers.

When we started LBG, it was out of a love for our favorite form of media, gaming, as-well as the preservation of said media. It's not about convenience, it's about how we're giving up control of our lives. Nobody cares that GTA 6 costs $100 without a disc. They care about what it means. It means they can cut off your access at any time. Any TOS violation, a gamer word, or bad social media post and poof. It means they can sunset the game forever, whenever they want. Stop Killing Games? Ya they squashed that. It means you own nothing. You are a renter, and we see that happening everywhere, not just in gaming. Buying stuff used to meant owning it and having it forever to use as you please. It's not just games. It's computers, cars, everything has a license, a subscription. And right to repair? To fix your stuff instead of being forced to buy a new thing? Gone, dude. Taken away forever. Many of you will trade convenience for that...because it turns out we will trade anything for convenience, even our privacy and data... And for what? Trinkets - Free social apps...cheaper games via Game Pass, the list goes on. Turns out we can be subjugated cheaply. But it's a bag bargain, long-term. Digital serfdom. I'm not immune from this, it's hard to escape. I'm there too...but it sucks.

I’m seeing “stop freaking out about the hantavirus” posts as if they are annoyed with those of us who still have ptsd from worldwide covid insanity, deaths, lockdowns, vaccine and masking mandates, and are still furious that absolutely no one was ever held accountable for experimenting with viruses in labs and creating vaccines to stop the viruses they created!!
