Just to remind these same folk: You’ve not lifted 1/2m kids out of poverty. You’ve just moved them over a bureaucratic line on a Whitehall spreadsheet. Your ‘workers rights’ are destroying entry-level jobs, hitting young people disproportionately, where unemployment is now over 16%. You have not transformed the NHS. It’s still the same old wheezing leviathan, just with a lot more dosh and still dismal productivity. And you’ve nationalised steel and rail before. It was not the prelude to an economic or industrial miracle. Plus you will now have to include their demands for capital/subsidies among all the other priorities already crowding in on the public purse. Other than that your reminder was useful. Thank you.
Anna Turley MP@annaturley

Just to remind some folk that is nothing ‘timid’ about a Labour government lifting half a million kids out of poverty, the biggest uplift of workers rights in a generation, giving millions of people a pay rise, transforming the NHS, nationalising the steel industry & our railways

Europe: “We demand a Two State Solution” UN: “We demand a Two State Solution” US Democrats: “We demand a Two State Solution” Australia: “We demand a Two State Solution” Canada: “We demand a Two State Solution” Arab League: “We demand a Two State Solution” Israel: “We offered it many times. We even gave them Gaza. Look what they did with it?” Hamas, PLO and PA: “We’re not actually sure why you’re all demanding a Two State Solution. And we’re not really sure why Israel offered us any proposals or gave us Gaza. We don’t want a damned Two State Solution. We want ALL of it, every inch of Israel, and we want to kill all the Jews. We’ve been pretty freaking clear about it in fact. We even did October 7 and will do it again and again and again and again until we kill them all. And then, when we’ve got all of Israel and they’re all dead and we control Jerusalem, then we’re coming for ALL the world next. Mwahahaha”…. Europe: “We demand a Two State Solution” UN: “We demand a Two State Solution” US Democrats: “We demand a Two State Solution” Australia: “We demand a Two State Solution” Canada: “We demand a Two State Solution” Arab League: “We demand a Two State Solution” And round and round we go. Cut, paste, repeat. @kajakallas, you are so out of your depth it’s frightening. You really need to just sit this one out. You have no idea what you’re talking about and it’s embarrassing.

Dear Gideon, as you know, the EU and Israel have a lot that binds us. I value our dialogue and engagement, and I’m open to continue in that spirit, respectfully and constructively. Dialogue is the foundation of diplomacy, especially when differences arise. The EU is always committed to a constructive relationship with Israel. To bring peace to the Middle East, the Two-State Solution remains the only viable path. The EU has condemned the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank that make it increasingly difficult to get to that goal. That is the EU position.

To Trump: In the Middle East, loyalty is currency. If you abandon your closest friend halfway through a fight and cut deals behind their back while leaving them exposed, don't expect anyone to trust your guarantees again. You told the world, "The U.S. and Israel carried out an operation against Iran," then walked away and left your ally standing alone. In the Middle East, we don't judge friends by speeches; we judge them by who stays when the missiles fly. A person who abandons an ally halfway and cuts deals behind their back is not someone you call in a crisis. You will say it's about American interests. Fine. But others also have interests, and they have memories. You can call it "America's interests." We call it something else: leaving your friends in the storm. Before asking, "Why don't they defend themselves?" remember that countries like Israel did and are still doing so alone. And also remember that the UAE defended itself, struck back forcefully, and banned the Muslim Brotherhood. Many of your countries in the West did neither. The lesson is simple. If you can leave your closest friend exposed today, why should anyone trust your promises tomorrow? Maybe it's time for the Middle East to start thinking about alternatives. And yes, when Iran strikes again, don't assume the Middle East will dial Washington. People don't call someone who might leak information to Turkey or cut a deal with Tehran while their friends are still under fire.

"When something of that scale occurs and it is occurring in real time... it is important to be present and to investigate" After October 7th, Dr. Alice Jill Edwards, the UN Special Rapporteur on torture, funded her own trip to Israel to witness and document the horrors of Hamas's massacre. For some reason, her instincts weren't shared by other UN officials. "I understand I’m the only Special Rapporteur who has ever requested to go to the Israeli mission to see the video and the documented evidence," she said at a recent event. From what she witnessed, she crafted a letter about Hamas's crimes on October 7th. But: "There was a campaign to prevent that letter from going out. There were weeks of being bullied and deterred from writing it and telling me that everything in it was false." Edwards was forced to edit the letter, even though it was based on her own research. "The letter shrank considerably." In the end, she said, "it was only signed by the Special Rapporteur on summary extrajudicial killings and me," she said. She said the "Rapporteur" position at the UN is being abused: "In the past we were this agile group forty years ago or thirty years ago of people that were supposed to be able to react actively and quickly to various issues that are going on in the world. Now we are being pushed to coordinate amongst one another." "Authoritarian and totalitarian governments don’t like the special rapporteurs, so they have created their own special rapporteurs and they fund them," she said. "We all want the UN to be a robust but also honest and objective body and if it can’t do the job, then maybe we do need to start thinking about what replaces it. That is a very worrying scenario." @AhmedAAshour8 @GCMercier I suspect they would not lodge in a child's head which kind of proves how ridiculous the stories of bullets embedded in skulls are. Even the most gullible useful idiot must be able to work that out! But there's not much thought or rationality in these strings.

These bullets are fired toward the tents of displaced families in Gaza. Imagine one of these rounds piercing the body of a small, defenseless child. What kind of terror do Gaza’s children endure every single day?

An absolute masterclass. 💥 Piers Morgan tried to trap Kemi Badenoch on Israel, but she brilliantly destroyed his logic using straight facts: How she won the argument: Alliances > Feelings: Piers hyper-focused on specific politicians. Kemi shut it down with real geopolitics: "Israel is an ally of the UK." The Media Blindspot: Piers only talked about costs. Kemi flipped it by pointing out a massive benefit: Israeli intelligence actively helps protect British citizens. Fixing the Logic: Piers blamed Israel for civilian casualties. Kemi corrected the cause and effect instantly: "Hamas uses innocent civilians as human shields. That is what has caused the scale of the violence."

@OsherFeldman You are wrong Osher, none of these "arguments" excuse the murder of at least 20000 Palestinian kids in Gaza in the space of 2 years.

@OsherFeldman She’s barely coherent. She parrots Israeli propaganda. To claim it’s a war and not a genocide by claiming not to know that leading influential Israeli cabinet ministers make genocidal statements is typical and laughable. It’s seems Genocide denial and idiocy go hand in hand

@youtube1519565 @OsherFeldman How'd you feel if someone blew your stupid head off or raped your wife or daughter and said they'd do it again and again. Would you respond 'proportionately' or would you fight to make sure they could never repeat it? WTF is wrong with people like you 🤔

@OsherFeldman So 1200 people is a battle for survival? But thousands and thousands of Palestinians killed, raped and expelled from their lands, trapped in Gaza with no permission to travel somewhere, their calorie intake controlled by Israel, is not about survival?
