@JM66878 @USCHolmey 9pm is not inconvenient for locals. Ever been to a concert? Main act doesn’t come on till 8:30/9pm. Was over 90 degrees yesterday with about 70-80% humidity on the Easy Coast.

Why on earth would they schedule a World Cup game at midnight eastern when the games are all here in North America?

@lfcphl @USCHolmey Most evening sporting events start at 7pm. 1 pm is a perfectly reasonable time for a sporting event, ask any local MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL or MLS team....

These hydration breaks are a joke. We are in North America, not the Sahara. Soccer has been played in heat since the sport existed and nobody needed a TV timeout to survive it. Let's call it out for what it is... An opportunity to add even more commercials to sports.

Genuine question… Why do entertainment companies actively ignore the desire of their own fans? Star Wars fans have been begging them to remove “the message” from their shows. Doctor Who fans have been begging them to remove “the message” from their show. Star Trek fans have been begging them to remove “the message” from their shows. Stargate fans are begging them to not include “the message” in their upcoming content. Gamers of almost every genre have been begging them to remove “the message” from games. Yet these executives will not stop! Why do they have this insatiable need to insert their own beliefs into other people‘s entertainment?

@USCHolmey Yes, a game was played in Foxborough, Massachusetts at 9pm EDT, which is 01:00 GMT. Inconvenient for people watching locally and middle of the night for the Europeans who are the true audience for the tournament. Should have been 1pm EDT (10am PDT & 17:00 GMT)
