The reality is that a free capitalist society has American made competition that will force these foreign companies to absorb the tariff costs in order to keep up the consumer demand or else the consumer will go with an alternative American made product if the cost is the same

My life has gotten significantly better as the interest rates have dropped more than 1% in the last 12 months. Refinanced my house, car, etc. Also, cost of eggs and several other grocery items dropped. Cost of gas was also much lower before the war and will drop again as soon as the war is over

Paid by the import and export companies. The cost can’t be passed to consumers in a free capitalist society since competition won’t allow it. The inflation data over the last 12-14 months will clearly show the same that the cost has not been passsed to consumers while generating 300 billion in additional revenue
