@maths_head Yes that looks strange. I find that Nova T6 does some strange things at times. I usually shut it down and try again. 😀. Is it a problem anywhere else in T6?

Help please in nova t6. In maths class names for y7 repeat themselves in y8. Under sessions tab the left groups/clusters names correctly but on right the class name says y7 but should say 8. #novat6 #timetable @JP_Timetabling

@RDBChurston @EdvalTimetables @EdvalUk @TimeTabler_UK Mainly used NovaT and @Bromcom . Had a look at @TimeTabler_UK and it looked good and user friendly. Haven’t used @EdvalTimetables so couldn’t comment. Good luck with the move.

Currently using NOVA to timetable. Looking to move to @EdvalTimetables @EdvalUk or @TimeTabler_UK as we move across to Arbor. Would appreciate any advice people have 🙏 If you have recently moved across from NOVA would love to hear from you. 😊@JP_Timetabling

@hrogerson Yes. We use an excel combing chart. I have a copy if you need one.

Giving all English teachers double the amount of PPA everyone else gets to account for marking. And yes I know double isn't enough but it's a start.

@MsGHist Staffing was very difficult for many schools this year. This resulted in delays to starting the scheduling. Although all schools I work with had one by the end of the last week. I’m sure some schools would have struggled to have a working timetable by the end of the year.

School timetabling. Sparked by someone else's post. Are there schools/teachers who don't know their timetable for September? If so, my mind is blown.

All timetables complete. Still amazes me each year when you have that “it will never work” moment but eventually you find a solution. “Better than Tetris” 😃 #NovaT6 #Timetabling

Can anyone remind me how to get subjects to show as diff colours on bands screen on nova t6. Having a brain freeze! @JP_Timetabling #novat6

@maths_head Then on the Bands tab select Block Colours.

@maths_head First right click in model on a block. Then set colour. 1/2

Made good progress on my most challenging timetables. Always feels good especially when you go through the it won’t work moments. #timetabling #NovaT6 #Timetable

@MrShepstone Not in the current climate. Also I always find there is something that I’m not happy with. I’m yet to write a perfect timetable.
