55.5% of all $CSPR is staked, setting new recent records, with a network APY of ~11%. To compare, $ETH is 32% staked with an APY of ~2.7%. $ETH has a Nakamoto coefficient of 2, $CSPR is 13 (higher than many PoS chains) PoS performance and decentralization is looking strong!

Atomic settlement means a transaction is final the moment it executes. Not "probably final after 64 confirmations." Not "final unless the chain reorganizes." Final. Most blockchains offer probabilistic finality. The more blocks pile on top of a transaction, the less likely a reversal becomes. For crypto trading, that's workable. For an institution settling a securities trade or a real estate closing, it isn't. You can't hand over title to an asset and have "probably irreversible" as your legal basis. @Casper_Network has instant finality. Once a transaction executes, it is done. That's an architectural choice made in 2018, not a feature added because regulators asked for it.

The @IMFNews published "Tokenized Finance" yesterday. The abstract describes the features that make tokenization work inside the regulated financial system: atomic settlement, embedded compliance, continuous liquidity management. That's not a wish list. It's a checklist. And it's worth going through it.

Today is the 5th anniversary of Casper's mainnet, and what a lustrum it has been! From a personal perspective, on March 31, 2021, I sat behind a screen as an ecosystem genesis validator watching mainnet come alive. And now on March 31, 2026, I'm humbled to have the opportunity to help steer this project into its next 5 years - where we focus on sustainable growth, adoption and innovation. With an industry that's finally catching up to Casper's vision around compliance and regulation-compatible financial infrastructure, I couldn't be more excited for what's in store. The SEC is building a framework that enables regulated asset tokenization. That framework needs chains with compliance architecture. Casper was designed for exactly this environment — ERC-3643, governance-driven upgrades, enterprise-grade security.
