It’s a dream season for the Jayhawks that should result in Dan Fitzgerald winning Big 12 Coach of the Year. He just took a team picked 9th in the preseason poll to sole possession of 2nd, mere percentage points shy of a title. Fitz’ Jayhawks swept the Big 12 Champs in their house, beating arguably his best competition for the award head-to-head. What a season for Coach Fitz and the Jayhawks. The Big 12 Coach of the Year should go to Kansas, case closed.
