@JakeMccGwire @beehiiv @Jeff__Benjamin So, maybe you guys can make it more intuitive, like... I don't know how to move things around freely, finding assets can be complicated, some of the options feel too professional (no tooltips) and I'm afraid to touch them and break everything.

A big focus for @beehiiv recently has been dialling in our Web builder agent to consistently deliver better quality outputs and experiences for users ('Consistently' being the hardest part). Sounds like we're making progress! Thanks @Jeff__Benjamin

Truly insane work at @beehiiv. I'm literally just telling the website builder what I want in my homepage layout in a chatbox and it builds sections for me to work inside... It's way over my head how/why it works so well but incredible product @denk_tweets

I don't think it's a platform issue - I think it's a broader discussion about that type of very important journalism and the institutions that are needed to support it independent media outlets like feed me, status, and the thousands of others supported by beehiiv and substack are perfectly suited for the business models that these platforms have unlocked. the shift from a few mainstream outlets who control the narrative to countless smaller independent outlets I believe is a net positive for consumers and for the journalists/entrepreneurs behind them. but unfortunately the types of important journalism that requires months-long investigative work, or being stationed in dangerous conflict zones isn't super conducive to this new independent media model (at least not yet). this is where the larger media organizations really shine. I'm self aware enough to acknowledge that beehiiv, as a nascent technology platform focused on building great product and a platform for independent voices to flourish, cannot possibly offer the security clearances or assurances of a NYT/WaPo to properly support those journalists in active war zones. I also think it's naive and slightly dishonest of substack to think otherwise

we added ~$1.5M ARR in January (best ever month at @beehiiv) the product roadmap for the next ~6 months is just ridiculous I've never been so inspired and excited to share what we're working on stay tuned 😈

@marcrandolph I'd argue that substack "owns" your audience they'll routinely send them emails without your consent to download the notes app and follow other writers sure - you can export those emails but substack owns that relationship now your readers = their users

When you maintain velocity for months on end, eventually everything you’ve done will start to compound and the company takes off. Thats exactly what’s happening @beehiiv right now: this year is going to be huge

First time playing around with @beehiiv's website builder and loving how simple it is. BUT, is there no way to just create an empty new section without using a template? Am I dumb/blind?? (all may be true lol) cc @denk_tweets
