Gyokeres is just useless against any remotely good team. A half fit Kai Havertz has shown us once again what you need. Sure, Kai misses but he’s got two chances there that Gyokeres doesn’t even get.

Incredible performance from Kai Havertz. Even moreso given the context of how poor Arsenal have been in the past 2 months He missed 2 chances, yes. That comes with the Havertz package but why is everyone ignoring the goal he scored as well? Elite IQ on display again from the angle of press to the challenge on Donnarumma. If two of Arsenals best creators (Eze and Odegaard) are on the pitch together, the starting striker has to be one that can put chances at the back of the net. If you want to stand a chance of winning games, you play your most creative players alongside your best finisher, it’s not rocket science, it doesn’t require buzz word analysis. Gyokeres should always start at CF alongside Eze at LW and Odegaard at AM.

Havertz missed a sitter at 0-0 in the cup final and missed a sitter at 1-1 today He also kicked us out of the carabao cup last year against Newcastle and in the fa cup 3rd round twice against United and Liverpool He also missed sitters vs villa at home that cost us in 23/24 He has killed this club.
