I’ve known of Dimension 20 and Critical Role for maybe the last 5 years or so but I couldn’t tell you anything about them. Just that people I admire and love enjoy them.
One of the most incredible parts of doing a live TTRPG was how attached people got to our characters.

My fondest childhood memory is a DnD game that, after the boss battle, it was revealed our characters were suspended in virtual reality & we swapped to Rifts.

I’m not super familiar with Brennan Lee Mulligan but he has my absolute respect for educating people on civil infrastructure using his tabletop game campaigns. This is real leftist activism btw! Infusing your platform with historical education and resources for greater impact.

@spaceghost Well I think a good encapsulation is the Unsleeping City 1 (there are 2 campaigns in that setting) it has a lot of tones and overall themes that help tell you who these people are as characters and players.

@spaceghost I mean really it’s 1000+ episodes but each episode is only 22 minutes. You watch 3 a day or sometimes just binge like it’s 2 hour move you’re caught up in year.
And it’s going on hiatus for a bit so you they ain’t putting new ones out for you to catch up on.
