@DrewfromJersey If Jets had concerns about losing Cade, they should have drafted him with their first 4th rounder and then kept the other two. Probably still would have gotten their DT and another player.

Outside of trading up for a developmental QB I would say the #Jets had as good a draft week as anyone could have imagined. Filled needs with winning and metrically elite players.

@_EagleTimes If he’s truly never played, he is going to be soooooo lost. He has to start at square one learning a new language and how to perform each technique that goes with it. all while trying to master that technique against the best in the world. He definitely has his work cut out

Trading 2 4s for Klubnik is worse than drafting Arian Smith by a wide margin btw. Lock Mougey in a cage on Day 3.

I have been very happy with the #Jets draft. The Klubnik pick in a vacuum is fine. He is a backup QB. My issue? Trading up for him in Rd 4 when you have talented players who fill immediate needs doesn't make sense. Who was drafting him at this point? Very weird pick to me.

The move was aimed at stockpiling extra capital to potentially trade back into the late third round for QB Garrett Nussmeier, who still remains available with a few picks left in the round.

@JGrayJets I would be fine if they took a chance on Nussmeier, Beck or Allar in the 4th, but please not in the second round. So many quality players expected to be there at 44.
